London Market Chooses DOCOsoft as Market Acceptance Testing Support Provider
Award winning claims management systems provider DOCOsoft has been awarded a two-year contract to oversee implementation of Market Acceptance Testing (MAT) support for the Associations Administration Committee (AAC). The AAC is a cross market group comprising representatives from the International Underwriting Association (“IUA”), Lloyd’s Market Association (“LMA”), the London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association (“LIIBA”), and the Corporation of Lloyd’s (Lloyd’s).
DOCOsoft will provide MAT with dedicated full time technology, software and facilities support for all market impacted projects. Additional AAC projects can utilise the people resource provided by DOCOsoft for project support or testing. Additional LMG projects can utilise resource offered by DOCOsoft, if agreed by the AAC, LMA and IUA.
The ECF Project Manager will work in a leading capacity, managing project risks, deadlines and supporting the Electronic Clams File User Group to ensure deliverables are managed and implemented effectively. DOCOsoft, which is a full ACORD member, will provide ring fenced MAT resource to support and work alongside the ECF Project Manager and ECFUG.
Other MAT requirements include the creation of a scenario matrix for testing scope and scripts for use by market participators. DOCOsoft has been tasked with creating detailed plans for duration of the testing, designing sessions, running daily reports and statistics and preparing analytical reports on MAT findings. DOCOsoft will also provide market and PM support, representing the market where required and coordinate with Xchanging to ensure issues and queries are handled efficiently.
DOCOsoft Managing Director Aidan O’Neill said: “DOCOsoft has an excellent working relationship with Xchanging and also with working group practitioners having worked on previous MAT phases. Our project delivery experience underpins our success in delivering implementation of the LMA claims initiative Write-Back to 15 London market carriers. I believe that our collaborative approach to Service delivery and support played an important role in selection of DOCOsoft for this important market wide initiative.”
Market Modernisation initiatives are being tested against the IMR and the market’s core mainframe systems. These initiatives are IMR Re-Platform, CSRP, Binders, changes to ECF to decommission ECF1, and enhancements to the new Write-Back service. A raft of London Market Target Operating Model (TOM) projects are being implemented in 2017.
Priorities include the implementation of the new dedicated MAT environment, the completion of the Binders project, support for the implementation of CSRP Release 1, and further on-boarding of carriers and software suppliers onto the Write-Back service. There will also be investment in a training programme for ECF users, running workshops and providing online training for brokers, carriers and third-parties involved in claims handling.
