Meet Lloyd Bizaoui, Product Manager for CMS & AI
Lloyd Bizaoui joined DOCOsoft in December 2025 as Product Manager, with responsibility for both the company’s core Claims Management System (CMS) and its AI strategy.
Always drawn to fresh challenges, Lloyd describes himself as someone who likes to throw his hat over the wall and then figure out exactly what’s on the other side.’ That mindset has shaped a career that spans global technology giants, high-growth software companies, and now the highly complex, technical and nuanced world of specialty insurance.
Before joining DOCOsoft, Lloyd worked with organisations including Meta, Salesforce, Twitter, AI-powered revenue intelligence platform Gong, and business intelligence and data-visualisation software company Tableau. Along the way, he’s built deep experience in product operations, stakeholder management, and large-scale execution.
A graduate in Computer Science, Lloyd’s path into product management was very much deliberate. Having worked closely with product teams throughout his career, he identified it as an area he wanted to focus on. To further that ambition, he studied for a Postgraduate Degree in Product Management at Technological University Dublin, completing it while still working full-time. With a strong emphasis on AI-driven products, the course sharpened his thinking around strategy, road-mapping and responsible innovation.
Lloyd’s most recent role prior to DOCOsoft was as Product Manager, Escalations at Salesforce, an environment where customer issues tend to be both urgent and highly visible. It was an experience that sharpened his instincts around risk, communication, and calm decision-making under pressure.
‘When things go wrong, you learn very quickly what really matters,’ he reflects. ‘You learn how to align people, prioritise clearly, and keep moving forward.’ Those are all lessons that are directly relevant in specialty insurance, where reliability and clarity of communication are key.
Product managing DOCOsoft’s core CMS
At DOCOsoft, Lloyd is Product Manager for both our core CMS platform, which underpins the claims operations of many of the world’s leading insurers and reinsurers, and for our growing suite of AI applications.
‘The CMS is a strong product with deep roots in the market,’ he says. ‘There’s a great opportunity to evolve it further, not just by adding features, but by sharpening focus, aligning vision, and building with purpose.’
A key part of Lloyd’s role is aligning teams internally around clearly understood shared objectives. Drawing on his experience in global tech companies, he ensures a structured product planning process and facilitates cross-functional workshops to clarify mission and roadmap priorities. His focus is not only on what DOCOsoft builds, but why, and how it builds it.
Since joining, Lloyd has been quick to immerse himself in the platform and its user community, meeting clients across the market and working closely with them to understand how DOCOsoft’s much loved and widely respected CMS supports their day-to-day operations – and where it can be taken forward to meet their evolving needs and deliver additional value.
AI as an enabler
Along with his stewardship of the core CMS, Lloyd leads DOCOsoft’s AI roadmap. He sees AI not as some kind of add-on, but as something to be embedded in established workflows.
The first layer of impact is essentially straightforward. Quick wins come from automating document processing, extracting structured information from unstructured data, and reducing repetitive manual effort. This drives efficiency and frees experts’ time for more challenging and productive tasks.
The more interesting opportunity, in Lloyd’s view, is around turning data and information into insight. Specialty claims generates vast amounts of those raw materials. But much of it has historically been hard to access or analyse. AI can help surface patterns earlier, support better decision-making, and unlock knowledge that could otherwise have remained trapped in dislocated emails, attachments and spreadsheets – or in the heads of senior claims professionals.
‘AI is not about to steal everyone’s job,’ Lloyd says, ‘But the truth is: claims people enabled with AI will outperform those without it. So, the goal is not to replace human judgement, but to augment it.’ In practical terms, that means giving claims handlers faster access to the information they need at any given time, and helping them focus on complex analysis and negotiation, rather than repetitive tasks.’
The purpose behind the platform
Since immersing himself in the specialty (re)insurance market, Lloyd has been particularly struck by its scale, its complexity and the responsibility it entails. ‘There’s a real mission behind claims technology,’ he says. ‘At the end of the process we facilitate, there are businesses and individuals who depend on the support this industry provides – often in critical moments in their individual or corporate lives.’
This perspective has been influential in shaping his approach. Innovation should be ambitious, but it should also be safe and disciplined. Combining the product rigour and discipline that Lloyd developed during his time in global tech with DOCOsoft’s deep market expertise creates a secure foundation for focused and responsible innovation.
For Lloyd, the opportunity at DOCOsoft is clear: to continue evolving a market-leading CMS, embedding AI thoughtfully within it, and helping ensure DOCOsoft continues to shape the future of specialty claims management technology.
And as someone who thrives on stepping into the unknown, he seems very much at home.
